Obituary for Kristy Marie Gonzales Kristy Marie Gonzales, 35, passed away at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, UT on July 5, 2018 with family at her side. She was born March 11, 1983 in Ogden, UT to Donny Gonzales and Maria Yolanda Boney. She grew up in Ogden, UT and attended where she received her elementary education and attended Ogden High School.

She met the love of her life, Sebastian Ortiz and they have been together for 20 years and were blessed with 2 children together. Kristy enjoyed eating, camping, going out to the movies and to Wendover. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family especially her Granddaughter Aviona.

She was a kind-hearted soul and had a very generous heart and would help anyone she could. She is survived by her Mother: Maria Yolanda Boney; Husband: Sebastian Ortiz; Son: Elias Jose Leroy Ortiz (Angie); Grandchildren: Aviona Melodee Ortiz and Baby Ortiz due January of 2019. She is also survived by her Brothers: Joe Sherman (Yareny), Richard Martinez, Santos Boney and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins that loved her.

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents; Father: Donny Gonzales, Infant Son: Angel Ortiz; God-Mother Jenni Boney as well as 1 Aunt and several uncles and cousins. The family would like to express appreciation to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at McKay-Dee Hospital ICU for the care given to Kristy. The family requests donations be made to help with cost of funeral services.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 7:00p.m. at Provident Funeral Home, 3800 Washington Blvd. , Ogden, UT. A viewing will be held from 6-7p.m. prior to the services.

Interment will be on Friday at 1:00p.m. in the Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd. , Ogden, UT. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Kristy Marie Gonzales please visit our Sympathy Store.
