Obituary for Dorothy Jean Freed Dorothy Jean Freed, 91, passed away at her home in Riverdale, UT on March 13, 2018. She was born in Chicago, IL on May 27, 1926 to William and Hazel Ford DeGroodt. She is the 8th Granddaughter of Richard Warren that came over on the Mayflower.

She married Mack Rinehart and to this union they were blessed with 2 Daughters. They celebrated 21 years together when Mack passed away in 1966. She married Harold Freed and to this union they were blessed with 1 daughter as well as 3 Daughters brought to this union by Harold They celebrated 20 years together when Harold passed away in 1989.

She worked for many years as a Switchboard Operator in the Telephone Industry. She loved to travel (, enjoyed baking and cooking and was known to have a sweet tooth. She loved to go shopping, read biographies and watching classic movies.

She was a Christian and attended Roy Calvary Christian Church. Dorothy is survived by her Children: Beverly Williams (Albert), Donna Van Vliet (Steven Beets), Victoria Martin (Marshall Waters); Step-children: Connie Mygatt (Len), Dianna Greening (Phil), Dona Nicolas (Bob) and a host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husbands and Siblings: Marilyn Reinhart and Donny DeGroodt.
