Vie White Lund, 91, passed away from natural causes on Sunday, June 3, 2018 in South Ogden, Utah. She was born on August 11, 1926 in Beaver, Utah to Lawrence and Effie (Smith) White. She married Ronald William Lund on June 25, 1954 in the St. George LDS Temple.

He passed away on June 8, 2015. Vie grew up in Beaver, Utah where she was senior class treasurer and a marching band member at the high school. After high school she moved to Cedar City, Utah where she attended college and earned an associate degree in business with a minor in music.

As a young adult she worked at two banks and other places, but her favorite job was being an accountant for KSL TV in Salt Lake City, Utah. She and Ron lived in the Los Angeles, California area; Ogden, Utah; then built a home in Roy, Utah. Vie put being a wife and mother first, and thoroughly enjoyed being a homemaker.

She was great at gardening, cleaning, cooking, and sewing. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, served in all the auxiliaries, and attended the temple often. She loved the gospel and had unshakeable faith in the Lord.

She was also a “true blue” BYU basketball fan. Vie is survived by her children: Paul (Janelle) Lund, Janet (Thane) Heiser, Karen (Alan) Manning, and Steven Lund; grandchildren: Daniel (Angela), Carolyn (Matthew), John (Kristen), Eric, Douglas, Brian (Lindsay), Rachel, Camille (Jacob), Logan, and Evan; great-grandchildren: Liam, Luke, Noah, Reya, Mylee, Lola, Lucy, and Wren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Melvin and Wendell, her husband Ronald, and her granddaughter Holly.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to services that same day from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. at Myers Roy Mortuary. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. on June 9, 2018 at the Mountain View Cemetery in Beaver, Utah.
