Patricia “Pat” Hood Rush November 14, 1950 – December 15, 2018 Share this obituary Local Florists View/Sign Guest Book Patricia Hood “Pat” Rush, age 68 of Strasburg passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital, Woodstock. A celebration of life will be Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, Strasburg. Mrs. Rush was born November 14, 1950 in Front Royal, a daughter of the late William Hood and Juanita Harold Hood Orndorff.

She was raised by her mother and step-father, Claude William Orndorff. She was employed at Westminster Canterbury, Winchester and was the former owner of Pat’s Cakes and Café in Strasburg. She was a graduate of Strasburg High School class of 1970.

Surviving are her husband, Claude William Rush; five children, Tammy Ann Wescoat and husband, Rob of Strasburg, Michael James Pangle and wife, Westy of Strasburg, Kimberly Dawn Huntley and husband, Gregory of Berkeley Springs, WV, Jason Wade Rush and wife, Dana of Myrtle Beach, SC and Jamie Ryan Toman and husband, Billy of Strasburg; her siblings, Lana W. Sours of Stanley, Darlene D. Moye of Georgia, Barbara H. Propst of Gainsville and Richard S. Hood of Waterford; ten grandchildren.
