Patricia R. Yunkes, 81, of Jersey Shore, PA, died Sunday December 30, 2018 at the Manor Care North Nursing Center, Williamsport, PA. Born July 9, 1937 in Cleveland Ohio, she was the daughter of Sidney S. Davis and the former Gertrude M. Kepp. Pat graduated from Chagrin Falls High School.

She worked at Western Reserve Magazine in Garrettsville, Ohio, and after that she was self employed, first as a beekeeper, then as a basket artist. She retired in 2005. Pat was a member of the Clinton County Art Council in Lock Haven, PA, Cook Forest Sawmill Center for the Arts, Geauga County Bee Association, Sons of Isreal, and the Beth Ethel Synagogue.

Surviving is her companion, Thomas Scheib, of Jersey Shore, PA; daughters, Diane R. (Gary) Barres of Eatonville, Washington and Pamela L. (Frank) Laswell of Chardon, OH; a son, Carl G. Yunkes of Peninsula, OH; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Rabbi Susan Stone will officiate.
