Paul Hess, age 72, Logansport, passed away at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at his residence. Born in Logansport on March 14, 1947, he was the son of Paul and Velma Zimmerman Hess. Paul had been retired from Mount Hope Cemetery for many years.

He enjoyed gardening and yard work, along with cooking. Everyone knows he was famous for his potato salad and watching his Western movies. He also liked spending time with his dog, Jada and his family.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie Hess; kids, Paul Hess (Amelia), Doug Hess, Steve Russell (Linda), Debbie Wilson (Donny) , Sherri Storey ( Don), and Alisa Appleton (Curtis); several grandkids and great grandchildren. Also surviving are his sisters, Barb Alder and Shirley Coon of Logansport, and Fern Curtis, Arkansas. A brother, Keith Hess, twin brother, Pat Hess, and sister, Dorothy Kerschner preceded him in death.

The funeral service will be Monday June 3, 2019, at 1:45 p.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery Chapel. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., also at the Chapel. He will be missed by all who knew him.
