Obituary for Paul K. Gibson Paul K. Gibson, age 63, of Meriden & Wallingford, passed away at home on January 1, 2019. Born in Cocoa Beach, FL on September 3, 1955, he was the beloved son of Rodney and Nancy (Earl) Gibson, and husband to Kate Loughlin. Paul proudly served as a Staff Sargent in the U.S. Air Force, Air Weather Service.

He loved animals, the ocean, swimming, and making people laugh. In addition to his wife and parents, Paul is survived by his son Earl and grandson Luke, his brother Gary and sister-in-law Robin, his sisters Wendy and Melanie, and many wonderful nieces and nephews. A funeral service with military honors will be held on Friday, January 18th at 2:00 pm at the State Veteran’s Cemetery in Middletown.
