Pauline’s Obituary HAMPER, Pauline R. – Of Grand Blanc, age 85, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Wellbridge of Grand Blanc. Funeral service will be held 1pm Friday, February 15, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Dr. Max B. Hayden officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make a contribution to their charity of choice. Visitation 3-8pm Thursday and 11am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Pauline was born in Flint on November 23, 1933, the daughter of Donald and Cora Alice Clapp.

Pauline was employed for many years in retail sales with several different stores, and was a McLaren Hospital Auxiliary volunteer, and was also a former member of West Court Church of God. Pauline was so proud of being “Yia Yia” to her grandchildren, Allison and Alexander. Surviving are son, Rick Hamper of Traverse City; Daughters, Michele Stouffer of Plymouth and Stacey Rye (Eddie Cross) of Grand Blanc; Two wonderful grandchildren, Allison Van Horn (Adam) and Alexander Rye; Brother, Donald (Barbara) Clapp; Sister-in-law, Jean Clapp; And many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Juanita Stephen and brother Douglas Clapp.
