Peter Wykoff Walker was born in Kilgore, Texas, on December 23, 1943. He passed away on February 10, 2019, in Dallas, Texas, at age 75. Peter graduated from Crane High School in Crane Texas.

He continued his education at West Texas State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree. Peter had an unusual sense of humor. He was strong-willed, loved his family, and supported his sons in all their endeavors.

He also had a passion to serve mankind by volunteering at The Aquarium @ Rockport Harbor, the Texas Maritime Museum, the Bay Education Center, and Lake Highland United Methodist Church. Among many hobbies, Peter enjoyed the beach, the ocean, and driving his Pontiac Solstice. He was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Mildred Walker; sister, Sue Gayle; and brother, William “Bill” Walker.

Those left to cherish sweet memories include his sons, Peter Wykoff Walker II (Amy Gray) and Curtis Walker; sisters: Helen Harrell (Curt), Barbara Smith, and Mary Griffin; and a host of other relatives and friends.
