Obituary for Phillip D. Tolmie Phillip D. Tolmie, 64, of Beloit, WI, died Monday, May 28, 2018 in his home. He was born on June 7, 1953 in Richland Center, WI, the son of Donald Wendelin and Margaret “Dee” (McCumber) Tolmie. Phillip was a 1971 graduate of Turner High School.

He was a veteran serving with the U.S. Navy from 1971 until 1975. Phillip married Denise Long on November 18, 1976 in Plymouth Church, Beloit, WI. Phillip was employed by Warner Brake and Clutch for over 40 years as the Senior Manufacturing Engineer.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and NASCAR fan. Survivors include his wife, Denise Tolmie; grandsons, Joseph and Tyler Garetson; nephews, Chad (Meagan) Suiter and Joey (Ashley) Suiter; great nieces and nephews, Briella, Bryce, Miah, Laurel, Owen, and Ava; aunt and uncle, Don and Charlene Tolmie; several extended family members. She was predeceased by his father and mom, Don and Carol Wendelin; mother and step-father, Dee and Bob Tolmie.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Mercy Hospice, Mercy Oncology Department, especially Dr. Kosak, Dr. Shekhani, and Dr. Kaveggia. Private family services will be at a later date. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd.
