Obituary for James Eugene Wolfram James Eugene “Jim” Wolfram, 79, of Rockford, IL, died Saturday, May 12, 2018 in Alden Debes Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. He was born July 1, 1938 in Nora, IL, the son of George Martin and Philomena T. (Putthoff) Wolfram. Jim attended Warren High School.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He married Judith Logeman in 1963. Jim later married Carol Atkinson.

Jim was formerly employed by Welders Supply, Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center and retired from Cub Foods in Rockford, IL. He enjoyed doing puzzles, traveling to Mt. Rushmore, the Dakota’s and Grand Ole South Trip.

He was a Chicago Bulls and NASCAR fan. Jim loved his dogs Fritz and Katie. He attended St. Anne’s Church in Warren, IL.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Wolfram; children, Brad (Debbie) Wolfram, Shari (Steve) Mleziva, Deanna Wolfram and Bruce (Jeani) Wolfram; step children, Kathy (Paul Ryan)Wilkins, Terry Schultz, Bob (Sandy Dopp) Schultz and Rob (Sandy Tucker) Schultz; 10 grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Bob Bonnet and Dick Snodie; sisters-in-law, Mary Potter, Violet Atkinson and Helen Atkinson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and close friends, Bernie and Barb Saunders of Warren, IL, and Lloyd (Linda) Janeway of Belvidere, IL. He was predeceased by his parents, daughter Denise Wolfram, sisters June (Lee) Swartz, Mary (Leo) Hoy and Donna (Don) Morvice, brothers, Gerald (Francis) Wolfrram, Ken (Betty) Wolfram and John (Pat) Wolfram, brothers-in-law Larry Atkinson, Tom (Doris) Atkinson and Jim Atkinson, sisters-in-law Myra (Bill) Goldsworthy and Marion Snodie. Military Honors will be accorded by the V.F.W. Post #2306 at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, followed by a visitation of remembrance from 4:15 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
