Obituary for Summer M. Amman Summer Marie Amman, 20, of Beloit, WI, died on Thursday, June 28, 2018 in her home. She was born on August 24, 1997 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Christopher and Corie (Melaas) Amman. Summer was a 2015 graduate of Turner High School.

She attended the Rock Valley College and was currently entering her senior year at Graceland University. Summer was a member of the Rock Valley College Softball 2016-2017 Division 3 National Championship Team. In 2016 she was selected as an All American in the NFCA (National Fastpitch Coaches Association) and received Most Outstanding Offensive Player on the 2017 National Championship Team.

Summer had a beautiful heart and was a down to earth young woman who was loved by many. Survivors include her father, Christopher Amman of Beloit, WI; mother, Corie (Andrew) Amman of Byron, IL; brother, Broc Alexander of South Beloit, IL; maternal grandmother, Barbara Melaas of South Beloit, IL and paternal grandmother, Rosemarie Amman of Beloit, WI; niece and nephew, Aliannah and Tayden Alexander; cousins, Paulie, Tony, and Jimmy Melaas; uncle, Brett Melaas of Oconomowoc, WI; aunts, Stephanie (Rick) Le Blanc of Deerwood, MN and Kelly (Timothy) Freeman of Loves Park, IL; step mother, Dani Buchko of Beloit, WI; step brother, Thor Davis of Beloit, WI; her dog, Edward; cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Harold Amman and maternal grandfather, Mark Melaas.

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God”. Matthew 5:8 Private family services will be held in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd. , Beloit, WI.

Inurnment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials may be made in her name to the YMCA Softball Program.
