Obituary for David K. Huntington David K. Huntington, 77, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018 in Pioneer Court after a short but courageous battle with cancer. He was born on February 24, 1941 in La Crosse, WI, the son of Kenneth and Fern (Everson) Huntington. David was a 1959 graduate of Hononegah High School.

David was employed as a millwright by the Beloit Corporation and had the opportunity for extensive travel in his position. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, enjoyed going on cheese runs and going to Baumgartner’s in Monroe for a limburger and onion sandwich. David enjoyed fishing, covered bridges, and fall colors.

He also liked his day trips to the casino and spending time with all his friends and family. Survivors include his children, Carla (Mark) Bianchi of Roscoe, IL, Ken (Geri) Huntington of Long Beach, CA, and Kris (Larry) Carpenter of Loves Park, IL; grandchildren, Amber (Scott) McKenna of Rockford, IL, Emily Bianchi of Blacksburg, VA, Colin Bianchi of Roscoe, IL, Brad Carpenter, and Jenna Carpenter both of Loves Park, IL; great grandchildren, Cooper and Carter Bianchi. He was predeceased by his parents.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the caregivers at Pioneer Court for their loving and compassionate care given to David. Private family inurnment will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
