Obituary for Robert C. Smock Robert C. Smock, 71, of South Beloit, IL, died Thursday, May 31, 2018 in his home. He was born on September 9, 1946 in Rockford, IL, the son of Harold and Myra (Baldwin) Smock. Robert was a 1964 graduate of Rockford East High School.

He was a veteran serving with the U.S. Army. Robert married Janell Hug on June 1, 1991 in Las Vegas, NV. Robert was employed by J.B. Hunt and Modern Suspension System as a Sales Manager for over 22 years.

He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, rummage sales, playing poker, and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Janell of Necedah, WI; son, Kevin (Arlene) Smock of South Beloit, IL; grandchildren, Dakota, Davin, Logan, and Jace. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers, James and Ronald.

There will be no services for Robert. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd. , Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
