Phyllis Ann Baker Wing, 87, formerly of Spring Church, passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, in Quality Life Services (formerly West Haven Manor), Apollo. She was born Nov.

30, 1930, in Leechburg, to the late Wilbert Cyrus Baker and Sarah Mabel Yingst Baker, and lived in the Kiski Valley area all her life. Mrs. Wing worked for the G.C. Murphy Co., in Vandergrift, before taking on the job of raising four children as a stay-at-home mother. She attended Spring Church Lutheran Church, where she volunteered in various activities, and was its choir director for many years.

She was also a member of the Armstrong County REACT and Relay for Life. She was the wife of the late Harry G. Wing; mother of Robert “Rob” G. Wing, of Orchard Hills, Douglas E. (Dawn) Wing, of Penn Hills, the late Keith A. (Theresa) Wing I, of Moween, and Laura J. (Al) Ochjitda, of Warren; brother, Robert E. (Marge) Baker, of Spring Church, Richard D. (Cheryl) Baker, of Apollo, and Russell (Betty) Baker, formerly of Leechburg; grandmother of Joshua D., Jacob C., Keith A. and Michael J.; great-grandmother of Hailey May, Cierra Ann Wing, John Alan Wing, Xavyer Jonathan Ecker, Tristen Wesley James Hurst, David Alan Wing, Cheyenne Jade Wing, Katlynn Marie Garren, Marsadie Lynn Knox, Jasmine Elizabeth Donahue and JayLynn Nicole Bradley. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Wilbert E. and Donald C. Baker; and grandsons, Brian and Brandon Wing.

Family and friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the DUNMIRE-KERR AND ROWE FUNERAL HOME INC. , 244 Franklin Ave. , Vandergrift.
