Obituary for Queen Elizabeth McAdoo Ms. Queen Elizabeth Rambert McAdoo, 71, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 27, 2018. She was born the only daughter to Robert Rambert and Eula Rambert on February 13, 1947 in Orangeburg, SC. She received her formal educations though the Guilford County Public Schools system and graduated from James B. Dudley High School.

Queen accepted Christ as her savior with Holmes Grove United Methodist Church of Greensboro, NC. Queen was employed by Walmart prior to retirement, for more than 10 years. In her leisure, she enjoyed fishing, writing poems, traveling and spending time with her family.

In 1996, Queen received the Editors Choice Award for two poems that she wrote that are archived in the Library of Poetry, Copy written in 1996, titled “I am a Poet” and “The Hurricane that was Vacationing”. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Reginald Rambert (Feleiss) and Jono J. McAdoo (Tonya) and one daughter, Deborah Donnell (Brian); one brother, Robert J. Rambert, Sr. (Clara); four grandchildren, Marques, Alecia, Kiana and Camille; one niece, Caryn Rambert; one nephew, Robert J. Rambert, Jr. and a host of cousins, loving relatives and friends. The family will host a private service on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11 AM.
