Rachel R. Graffius, age 88 of DuBois, formerly of Punxsutawney, passed away Friday, July 6, 2018, at Penn Highlands DuBois. Rachel was born November 24, 1929 in Walston to the late Archie and Concetta (Bianco) Farbo . In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph H. Graffius on November 10, 2007.

They were married 47 years. She was also preceded by one brother; Donald Farbo. Rachel was a member of Ss.

Cosmas & Damian Roman Catholic Church in Punxsutawney. She loved going to her granddaughters sports events every chance she could and playing bingo. Rachel is survived by two daughters; Lisa Blasdell and husband Donald, Francene Thomas and husband Timothy all of Dubois and three beloved granddaughters; Meagan Thomas, Taylor Thomas and Cietta Blasdell all of DuBois and one sister; Adeline Shemuha and husband Bob of Punxsutawney.

Friends will be received from 5-8 pm Monday, July 9, 2018 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Ss. Cosmas & Damian Roman Catholic Church with Msgr.

Joseph Riccardo as Celebrant. Interment at Calvary Cemetery is private. You may make donations in memory of Mrs. Graffius to the DuBois Central Catholic School, PO Box 567, DuBois, PA.
