Shirley M. Meloy “Grandma Shirley”, 83, of Jeannette died Wednesday September 26, 2018 in Excela Westmoreland Hospital. She was born March 16, 1935 in Jeannette a daughter of the late Joseph and Ethel Davis Henry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Joseph Bloom.

Shirley loved children and being around family and friends. She is survived by her three daughters; Gloria Ressler (Stanley) of Jeannette, Leah Stull (Charles) of Jeannette and Amy Meloy (Jerry Lang) of Derry. Nine grandchildren; Susan Altieri (John), Nicole Lang (Matt Kowalski), Joseph Bloom Jr., Jennifer Kropilak (Danny), Erica Lang (Joey Siwiak), Ashley Tatrai (Kevin), Andrea Struhala (Steve), Dylan Trout and Samuel Queer.

Three great grandchildren; Johnny and Anthony Altieri and Aislynn Lang. Several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Saturday from 2-4pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry.
