Obituary for Ralph Calvert Bonar Sr. Ralph Calvert Bonar Sr, (85) of Falmouth, KY passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018. He was born in Harrison, OH. on November 25, 1933, son of the late Hazel Stokes and George Calvert Bonar.

Ralph was a carpenter by trade, a Navy veteran, member of the American Legion Post 109 and a 32 degree mason. He enjoyed farming and woodworking. His greatest joy was being surrounded by his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was always a patient, loving, strong man. In addition to his parents, Ralph is preceded in death by a brother Dale Bonar, Sr and a grandson Adam Lee Bonar. Survivors include his wife of 64 years Verda Cochran Bonar.

His children Ronda Ehrich, Verda Fay (Stan) Wylie, Ralph Bonar, Jr (Tabitha Tuel) and Tamara (Billy) Steele. His brothers Gary, Norman and Marvin Bonar. His grandchildren Jill (Larry) Krift, Jenny (Gary) McNay, Amanda Bonar, Stan III (Sarah) Wylie, Mitchell Bonar, Jessica Steele, Tyler (Courtney) Steele, Christopher (Michaela) Ehrich, Aaron Bonar (Jessie Turner) and Savannah Bonar.

His great grandchildren Bryce, Kenzi, Logan, Lydia, Natalie, Avery and Josie and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Peoples Funeral Home in Butler, KY. Funeral services will follow on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 1 pm also at the funeral home.

Ralph’s final resting place will be in the Lenoxburg Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Pine Grove Methodist Church, 9095 Hwy 10 N, Foster, KY 41043.
