Ralph’s Obituary FLECK, Jr., Ralph J. Age 92, of Vandalia, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019, at Hearth & Home of Vandalia. Ralph was born August 18, 1926 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Ralph J. & Minnie G. (Chabloz) Fleck. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Jean (York) Fleck, on January 5, 2019; daughter, Debra L. Hodge; and by three siblings, Charles & Carl Fleck and Roberta Washburn.

Ralph was a long-time member of the Vandalia Grace Brethren Church, a United States Navy WW II veteran, a former volunteer at Miami Valley Hospital; a member of the Southport, Indiana Masonic Lodge and up until the time he retired he worked part-time at Cassel Hills Golf Course. Ralph is survived by one daughter, Denise Cremen & her husband, Rich; and by two grandchildren, Daniel & Christine. Ralph will be missed by many.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday (1/26) at Morton & Whetstone funeral home. Pastor Everett Caes will officiate. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.

The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Ralph to the Hospice of Miami Valley.
