Ralph Lloyd Williams, 85, of Carbondale, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Manor Court in Carbondale, with his son by his side. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at Oakland Cemetery in Carbondale, with Rev. Ralph Brandon officiating.

Visitation will be from noon to 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, at Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville. Memorial contributions are the preferred form of remembrance and can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Ralph was born on November 20, 1933, in Carbondale, to Michael and Sarah “Etta” (Hiller) Williams.

He is survived by his son, Pastor Michael “Pic” Williams of Carterville; nephews, John (Jessica) Mann of Carterville, Jess (Laura) Mann of Carterville and Jason (Kim) Mann of Mt. Vernon. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Catherine (Paul) Mann and Mary Edna (Jake) Flanigan; and cousin, Joe Mann.
