Obituary for Ramona “Tata” Miranda (Ortiz) Ramona Miranda, aged 90, of Bridgeport CT, widow of Martin Miranda Sr, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, affectionately known as Tata, entered into peaceful rest, Friday, July 13, 2018, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Ramona was born August 31, 1927, in Barranquitas, PR. She was the beloved daughter of the late Sixto and Basilisa Ortiz.

She was a dedicated Cursillista and member of St. Mary’s Church. Ramona is survived by her children Jose A and spouse Eva, Ricardo and spouse Yvette, Luis A, William and spouse Gloria, Arminda Singh, Juanita Falcon, Ana Cotto and spouse Walberto, Iris T, Delia Diaz and spouse Simon, Miriam, and Carmen; 64 grandchildren and 60 great-grandchildren; and extended family and friends that will cherish her memory. She is pre-deceased by son Martin Jr. Friends may greet the family Monday July 16, 2018 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and Tuesday July 17, 2018 from 9:30am to 10:30am at Community Funeral Chapels 798 Park Ave, Bridgeport, CT, (203) 334-9999.
