Mr. Randal Scott Johnson, age 64, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at his home, surrounded by loved ones. A graveside service will be held 10:00AM Friday, February 1, 2019 at Liberty All Cemetery in Huntingdon, Tennessee. Brother Henry Simpson will officiate.

Mr. Randal was proud to serve in the U.S. Army. He served as a Radio Teletype Operator in the Army for many years. Randal also served as a Military Police Sergeant.

After that, he worked as a Captain of a Correctional Institution. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Huntingdon, Tennessee. Randal was born July 15, 1954 in San Mateo, California to the late Charles & Bonnie Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Alene Johnson; two sons, Russell Scott Johnson of Livermore, California & Mark Anthony (Kara) Elsner of Paris, Tennessee; three daughters, Janette L. Johnson of Redwood City, California, Jackie Wood of California, & Jacqueline E. (Brad) Allen of Huntingdon, Tennessee; three brothers, Gary Johnson of Paris, Tennessee, Steven Johnson of China, & Robert Johnson of Gilbert, Arizona; and five grandchildren, David Boals, William Boals, Daniel Edwards, Austin Riley, & Lorelei Elsner. Dilday-Carter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 731-986-8281.
