Randy was born and raised in Oakhurst, NJ and attended Ocean Township High School. Throughout his life, Randy’s biggest accomplishments and greatest joys were the relationships he had with his loving family and with the numerous people he met along his way.

Randy was the adorable baby brother of seven boisterous boys. If you were fortunate enough to have called Randy your father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, brother in law or friend, then, you know that he cherished every single interaction with you. You knew because he showed this by the excitement he displayed with the energetic, fun and colorful conversations you had whenever you met with him.

He also had a reputation in his family of being the favorite uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Any family that has an uncle like Randy knows, you are one lucky family! Randy was inspired to travel each corner, byway and back-road of the United States.

He was passionate about exposing the hidden treasures of the world and sharing that with his beloved followers. Randy would do anything to get his perfect photo, slam on the brakes, lie on the yellow lines and stop any stranger. He is best known on Instagram for his “dog of the day” and “stuff I see” series, exposing things each of us would never see without him.

His travels were fueled by an innate passion for seeking, searching and discovering anything and everything old, odd, cherished, antiqued, encrusted, well-made, fancy, ordinary, useful and or useless, which he then kept, repurposed, re-sold, revered and or gifted to his loved ones. His life was far from ordinary evidenced by his friend-given identity, “The Jersey Picker! ” and he would not have wanted to live it any other way.

Randy liked his people like he liked his treasures, interesting and collectible. This “collection” of people singled themselves out by their unique novelty to make Randy’s “allstar” list. His love stretched far and wide as he inspired those around him to spread love, kindness and compassion to others.

He was known to tell you, “you’re my favorite” or “you’re the best ever”, and with that you were enveloped into his in person, and online family. His family, friends and loved ones, although left to mourn the loss of their youngest son, baby brother, favorite uncle and best friend, they are so very grateful that Randy strove to live life the way he did, on his own terms. Randy is survived by his loving mother, Marie Siciliano, daughter Frances Maleh, six brothers and their wives; Gerry and Paula, Gavin and his late wife Penny, Ric and Betsy, Tony and Pamela, Tim and Myra, Chris and Lisa, nieces and nephews, John, Matt, Jenna, Christina, Andrew, Joe, Tara, Jeff, Regina, Kathleen, Anthony, Ryan and Phillip, grand nieces and nephews, Quinn, Graham, and Leonardo, dear friends, Lisa McLean-Maleh and David Boyd.

He was predeceased by his beloved father Gavin W. Siciliano. He also leaves behind many cousins and friends far and wide. Our Randy lived by the words “I’ve been everywhere, man”, and now he truly has, may he rest in eternal peace.

Visitation will be held at Buckley Funeral Home; 509 2nd Ave, Asbury Park, NJ on Friday 2/22 from 3-7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Assumption Church; 46 Richmond Ave, Deal, NJ at 10:30 am, Saturday 2/23.
