Raymond Lee Rose, 85, of Sewickley, PA passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018 after a brief illness. He was born in Portsmouth, OH, a son of the late Henry George Rose and Grace Virginia Shingler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Delores; and his beloved brothers, Edwin; Richard; and Donald.

His surviving nieces, nephews, and friends will greatly miss their “Uncle Ray”. He served in the U.S. Navy. He took great care of his beloved German Shepherd “Sadie” until they recently had to part.

Ray loved to read books, especially the Bible, and looked forward to God’s promise when there will be no more sickness, no more death. Funeral Services will be private and Raymond will be laid to rest in Sewickley Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc. 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.
