Rebecca Flores, 89, a lifetime resident of Mercedes Texas went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. She was born February 17, 1930 to Jesus and Isabel Moguel Flores in Ramones Nuevo Leon Mexico. She is survived by her loving nephews: Arnoldo (Donna) Flores of Richardson, Texas, Emilio Flores of Rockport Texas, Siblings: Francisca M. Flores, Eduardo M. Flores, also survived by her nephews and nieces to Rebeca are; Misty Flores, Crystal Flores, Eric Flores, Marc Flores and Patricia Flores.

She is preceded in death by her parents, nephew: Jose Omar Flores, sister: Maria de Jesus M. Flores, brother: Emilio M. Flores. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 1, 2019. We will depart Rudy Garza Chapel of Angels at 1:30p.m. for a 2:00p.m. mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Interment will then follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Weslaco Texas. Funeral services are under the direction and care of Rudy Garza Funeral Home of Mercedes Texas. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Rebeca Flores please visit our Sympathy Store.
