Rebecca Lee (Angell) Allen, 57, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was a native of Davie County, born August 10, 1960, to the late Wiley Angell and Julie Ruth Salisbury Angell. Mrs. Allen was a graduate of Davie County High School, Class of 1978.

She was a food service cook for Davie County Hospital and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Remaining to cherish her memory are her husband of 33 years, Randy Gene Allen; one son, Benjamin Caleb Allen of Mocksville; two daughters, Hannah Louise Allen of Lexington and Amelia Caroline Allen of Mocksville; one brother, James Tim Angell of Myrtle Beach; three sisters, Brenda K. Shoaf of Salisbury, Christine Thompson and Nancy Smith (Andrew) both of Mocksville and one granddaughter, Maddie Victoria Neely. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 17, 2018, from 6:30 – 8:30 PM in the chapel of Davie Funeral Service.

The Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday March 18, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor Darrell Cox officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Legion Memorial Park.
