Regina Laureen Crumpacker August 22, 1955 – May 15, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Memorial Donation Regina Laureen Pluff-Crumpacker, age 63, a resident of Taholah, died on May 15, 2019, at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. Regina was born on August 22, 1955, in Aberdeen, Washington to Ernest L. Pluff Sr. and Shirley Marie Mowitch. She had attended Chemawa Indian School in Salem, Oregon and later attended a trade school where she received her construction certification.

She had worked as a flagger, heavy equipment operator and safety coordinator for many years. Some of her biggest projects were working on the development of the Quinault Casino and Ramada, now known as the Sweetgrass Hotel. Regina loved being with her family, whether at family gatherings or camping on the beach with her grandkids.

She also enjoyed time at the casino, bingo and trips to Reno. She loved Harley’s, finding agates and shopping with her sister, Jeanie, for hours. Surviving relatives include; her mother, Shirley Mowitch, her father, Johnson Bastian; two daughters, Loretta Williams (Anthony DuVall) of Aberdeen and Regina Jackson-Bryson (Tater Bryson) of Taholah; two sons, A.J. Jackson of Taholah and Richard “Bear” Crumpacker, Jr. of Arizona; her grandchildren, C.J. Jackson, Krista Goodface, Antonson DuVall, Lord DuVall, Lei-Onna DuVall, Dexter Pink, Morningstar Bryson, Tawny Bryson, Brittny Bryson, Bradley Bryson and Tyler Bryson; her great grandchildren, Raelyn Pink and Shaelyn Pink; and siblings, Juanita Thomas, Carolyn Pluff, Gina Piffero, Misty Bastian, Lisa Bastian, Jonette Bastian-James, Jeanie Mowitch, Ernest Pluff and Louis Pluff.

All her best friends, family, nephews and nieces were dear to her heart. She was preceded in death by her biological father, Ernest Pluff, Sr., and siblings, Marlene “Lotta” Pluff, Eddie Bastian , Joelette Bastian-Ramos, Gene Piffero, Jimbo Mowitch and Ben Harlow. A candlelight service will be at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 21, 2019.

A Indian Shaker Service will be 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, both at the Taholah Community Center. A dinner will follow. Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
