Renee M. Hoagland, 89, of Williamsport, died Thursday, May 31, 2018, at her residence. Born Oct. 31, 1928, in Sannois, France, she was a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Louis Carruel.

Renee was a cook at the former Sycamore Manor, Leader Nursing Home (South) and Presbyterian Home. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. Surviving is her son, Craig G. Hoagland, of Williamsport; and a grandson, Christopher J. Crawford-Hoagland, of Williamsport.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George C. Hoagland Jr.; a son, Jeffry L. Hoagland; and extended family members in France. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Knight Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave. A graveside service will follow at Green Lawn Memorial Park.
