Rev. Dr. Nathaniel’s Obituary Rev. Dr. Nathaniel Gant, 70, went to be with the Lord on March 16, 2019.

He was born on February 26, 1949 to George Gant and Rosetta Gordon Gant in Marks, Mississippi. He is survived by his wife, Janie Gant; children, Ruby Laster (Antoine), Natasha Scales (Donna), Corey Howard, Tiffany Gant, Tammy Walker (Kenneth), Nathaniel Gant, II (Lorna), Camese McCoy, Lakesha Porter (James), Latorya Allen (Bryan), Nicole Givens, Shilda Moore (Julius), Herve Gant (Maria), Paris Gant, Chanceux Gant, Alexis Gant, Aryelle Gant, Paris Gant, II, Desmond Gant, Amani Gant; siblings, Maurice Gant and Willie C. Gant. He was a true man of God, a loving husband, a devoted father and a man of valor.

A visitation will begin on Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Grace First Baptist. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 1, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. also at Grace First Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery.
