Rev. Mrs. Gussie’s Obituary Mrs. Gussie Dell Cayson Marshall Mrs. Gussie Dell Cayson Marshall was born on September 30, 1953, to Lee Cayson Sr. and Lillian Mary Johnson Cayson of Tupelo, MS. Gussie was one of twelve children, she was called home by her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 8, 2019.

She lived a life of holiness since the age of 12 until her departure, she accepted Christ at a very young age at Steven Chapel of Tupelo, MS. She later joined Davis Temple Church of Living God in 2009, then joined Pleasant Vally United Methodist Church in Okolona, MS. Gussie was employed with the TPS as a cook for countless years, her hobbies were cooking, singing, and spending time with friends and family.

She was also known to take in anyone who needed a place to stay or even someone to just talk to or pray for. “Mama Gussie” was her neighborhood name for everyone. Although she is absent from our sight, she will never depart from our hearts.

She leaves to cherish precious memories 3 daughters; Teresa (Alfrazo) Pannell, Angela (Lee) Carouthers, and Keri Marshall; one son, Desmond Marshall; one brother, Paul Cayson; fifteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Gussie was welcomed to her heavenly home by her parents, one son, four sisters, four brothers, two nieces, and two sisters-in-law. ?
