OBITUARY Reva Imogene Hall January 19, 2018 – December 9, 2018 Reva Imogene (Hooper) Hall, born on January 19, 1936 in Jackson County, joined her Heavenly Father on December 9, 2018. Mom was a long-time resident of Saunook and an active member of Pleasant Balsam Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband James (Jessie) Hall, her son Dr. Thomas D Hall (wife Lora) of Missoula, Montana and a daughter Anna R Hall (husband John) of Waynesville, NC and three grandchildren Colter, Parker and Al.

Surviving siblings are Manuel Hooper, Carrol Hooper and Autherine Smathers. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Thomas Dillard Hooper and Annie (More) Hooper, and siblings Clarence Hooper, Margie Hall, Lois Freeman, Hubert Hooper, and Catherine Jordan. Our mom, known to many as “Big Mama”, is most assuredly rejoicing with the Lord and her Heavenly Family.

There’s no doubt that she has already joined the heavenly choir and is singing praises to the Lord! Sing sweetly Mom! Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 15, 2018 at Pleasant Balsam Baptist Church.

Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects starting at 1;00 pm and join us in a short service at 2:00 pm. Burial will be at Saunook Plot Cemetery on a later date not yet determined.
