Homer Flores Rodriguez, 68 of Cottage Grove, Oregon passed away September 11, 2018. He was born October 13, 1949, in Del Rio, TX to Homer and Mercedes (Flores) Rodriguez. Homer graduated from high school in Stockton, CA.

He was a truck driver and mechanic, driving for Safeway Stores in CA for 20 years, then retired. Homer liked to play golf when he could, he loved to watch the history channel, old movies, the Animal Planet and collecting large rocks for his yard. Homer married Joyce Haymes on August 18, 2001, in Reno, NV.

He is survived by his wife Joyce Haymes, Cottage Grove, OR, son Homer Rodriguez, Stockton, CA, brother Hermilo (Jamie) Flores Rodriguez, Santa Maria, CA, brother Virgilio (Ann) Flores Rodriguez, Stockton, CA and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by daughter Erica Rodriguez at 48 and brother Hector Flores Rodriguez. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
