Obituary of Rhonda Chappel Mrs. Rhonda K. Chappel, 55, of Titusville, passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Altoona, PA on August 27, 1963 to the late Ronald Z. Parks and Gayle E. Robeson Baily. Rhonda graduated from Blairsville High School, class of 1981, with high honors.

She obtained a bachelor’s of Political Science in 1985 from Allegheny College with high honors. She married Jonas Chappel on October 5, 1993 in Jamaica. Rhonda worked at Y-Teens, the Titusville Senior Center, and the Titusville Herald in the advertising department until she became ill.

She loved her job and talking to people. She also liked to travel. Rhonda is survived by her mother, Gayle Baily and husband Jim of Titusville; husband, Jonas Chappel of Titusville; a son, Hayden Chappel of Titusville; a brother, Terry Parks and wife Tammy of Centerville; a special nephew, Anthony Parks; mother in law, Sarah Chappel; six brother and sister in laws, Dean Chappel and wife Nancy, Dan Chappel and wife Marie, Andy Chappel, Jeff Chappel and wife Kelly, all of Titusville, Doug Chappel of Tionesta, and Terry Linsted and husband Chris of Fairview; an uncle, Ceibert parks of Williamsburg, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, and several aunts and uncles. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made in Rhonda’s memory to your local animal shelter.
