Sefick, Richard C., 92, Johnstown, passed away January 16, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. Born September 29, 1926 in Johnstown, son of the late Andrew and Irene (Kalcher) Sefick. Preceded in death by daughter, Andrea Doucette; siblings, Stephen, Joseph, Edward and Robert Sefick, Margaret Boyle, Agnes Ngyuen, Emily Sefick and Helen Adams; beloved nephew, Charles “Bud” Boyle.

Survived by loving wife, Donna (Ritchey) Sefick, Johnstown; children, Susan married to Fran Weaver, Gettysburg; Richard Sefick II married to Roberta (Facci); David Williams; Kenneth Williams; Karen Zagrod; Chris Williams; and Shawn Sefick married to Lisa (Thomas) all of Johnstown; grandchildren, Susan, Marey, Michael, Rebecca, Anthony, Jennifer, Andrew, Heather, Shannon, Richard III, Keri, Kimberly, Jamie, Jesse, Zack and Sarah; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Richard was a retired railroader having worked at Conemaugh and Black Lick Rail Road, WWII U.S. Army Veteran, he was a life member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, had a great sense of humor and was a loving husband, father and friend.

Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 18th, at KENNEDY’S, 219 Ohio St. Johnstown, vigil service will be held privately for the family prior to viewing. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 19th, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Fr. Walter Moll.

Committal 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 21st, at St. John Catholic Cemetery, Geistown. Memorial contributions may be directed to either Allegheny Lutheran Social Ministry or St. Patrick Catholic Church in his memory. www.
