Obituary for Richard C. Tufts Richard Craig “Tiny” Tufts, age 71, of Lorain, passed away at his home on October 14, 2018 following a short illness. Born November 25, 1946 in Erie, Pennsylvania, he moved to Lorain in 1959. Craig graduated from Marion L. Steele High School in Amherst and then served in the US Navy.

Craig worked at Ford Motor Company Lorain Assembly Plant as an inspector for 35 years. He was a member of the United Steel Workers Union Local 1104 and the National Rifle Association. He was a train enthusiast and enjoyed model trains and cars.

Surviving is his wife of 43 years, Regina (nee Dutro); a daughter, Heather Ellen Tufts of Lorain; and 3 grandchildren. Craig was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Charles Tufts in 2003 and Betty E. Reynolds in 1998. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of military honors at 11:00 a.m. in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.
