Richard “Dick” C. Crater, age 82, passed away July 1, 2018. He was born September 11, 1935 in Coshocton, Ohio. Dick retired from Babcock & Wilcox where he worked in the Nuclear Division.

He enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing, and visiting casinos. Preceded in death by his wife, Rita, and son, Carl. Survived by daughters, Lisa French, Michelle (Michael) Seladoki, and Melinda (Patrick) Henry; grandchildren, Felicia, Jessica, Justin, Amanda, Amy, Nathaniel, Riley, Lauren, Anna, and Natalie; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be Friday, July 6, 2018 at 7:00 pm at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave. , Barberton, OH 44203 with Chaplain Don Bolich officiating. Family will receive friends Friday from 5-7 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Committal service will be Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 11:00 am at Greenlawn Cemetery in Akron, OH.
