Richard’s Obituary CMSgt Richard Floyd Seubert USAF (Ret. ), 89, of Warrensburg, MO, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, in Lee’s Summit, MO. Richard was born on March 11, 1930, in San Pedro, CA, the son of Joe and Mildred Seubert.

In 1949, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and worked as an aircraft & helicopter maintenance manager. His military career provided him the opportunity to visit nearly every single continent in the world – he was even able to play a game of baseball, using the North Pole as the pitcher’s mound. He never missed the chance to hunt or fish, wherever he journeyed.

Upon retiring from the Air Force after 30 years of service on February 28, 1978, he studied for and earned his bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from UCM, and worked as a cattle rancher. Richard is survived by his son, Rich Seubert of WA and his children, Kelly Bree Seubert, Tyler Richard Seubert, and Dylan Boehler Waters Seubert, and his 11 grandchildren; his step-son, Johnny Massey of WA and his son, Dylan Massey; and significant other, Verna Quattlebaum. Richard is preceded in death by his first wife, Elza Yvonne Seubert and his second wife, Pearl I. Seubert; his daughter, Lorraine Seubert; his parents, Joe and Mildred Seubert; and one brother.

A graveside inurnment with full military honors will be held on Wednesday, May 15, at 11:00 a.m., at Knob Noster Cemetery in Knob Noster, MO.
