Richard Jeffrey Sibley Sr., age 76 of Robinson Township, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018. He was born on January 19, 1942, to the late Everett and Helena (Westerhouse) Sibley in Muskegon, MI. Richard married Patricia Gustafson on March 23, 1973 in Ludington, MI, and she preceded him in death on April 30, 2011 after 38 years of marriage.

He worked at Story and Clark, and Rami Corporation in Grand Haven, and retired from Hayworth Corporation. Richard was a lifetime member of the American Legion Charles A. Conklin Post #28, and longtime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 925. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, and also played softball, horseshoes, and golf.

He loved watching Nascar whenever there was a race. Richard is survived by his two daughters, Kim (Mike) Mullin, Suzanne (Joel) Landesman; sons, Richard (Brenda) Sibley Jr., Robert (Denise) North Jr., David (Annette) Sibley; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Barb Bowditch, Helena (Larry) Ohlendorf, Patricia (Bill) Terry; brothers, Art (Lisa) Sibley, John Paul Sibley; in-laws, Irma (Les) Hesse, Phyllis (Mark) Seabeck, Barbara (George) Martin, Loretta Petersen, Larry (Glenna) Gustafson, Jerry (Mary) Gustafson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Alan and Joe Sibley.

The Funeral Service for Richard will be on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Klaassen Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Klaassen Family Funeral Home. Interment will be at Riverton Cemetery.

Full Military Rites will be preformed by the American Legion Charles A. Conklin Post #28. Memorial contributions may be made to Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #925 of Grand Haven.
