Richard P. “Dick” Perri, 56, of Butler, died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon, May 27, 2018. Born October 23, 1961 in Butler, he was a son of the late Philip Perri and Harriet (Stein) Perri. Dick was a 1979 graduate of Butler High School, also the New Castle School of Trades and received a Degree in Electrical Engineering from Youngstown State University in 1991.

He currently worked for WEG Motor Controls and Robotics and previously worked for Benshaw and AEG. He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler and the N.R.A. He loved music, as he played the guitar daily, had perfected the art of home brewing, was an expert in computers and had loved his toys that included his drone and his RT Scatpack.

He loved to travel and experience new places, outdoor hiking, riding bikes, exercising and his afternoon walks. Dick was meticulous and perfected everything he had attempted. Surviving is his wife, Cindy Jo (Litz) Perri, whom he married September 8, 1990.

1 brother, David J. Perri of Butler. 2 sisters: Deborah S. (Lloyd Lake) Perri and Diane (Ralph) Lukas, all of Butler. His mother and father in law, Joseph and Dolores Litz.

Brother-in-law, David Litz. Sister-in-law, Susan (Michael) Aldas. Nieces and nephews: Rachel (Matthew), Amber (Cory), David P. (Chalea) and Amanda (Justin).

Great nieces and nephews: Kellen, Alyssa and Kyson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew Mitchel. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean Street, Butler.

The Rev. Harry Bielewicz, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Butler.

Arrangements by the Geibel Funeral Home, Butler. In Lieu of Flowers, Donations may be made in Dick’s memory to Butler Catholic School. 515 East Locust Street, Butler PA 16001.
