Rick E. Ratliff, 51, of Moline, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1450 30th Ave. , East Moline.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, May 14, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Ave. , Moline. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his family. Rick was born on July 26, 1966 in Moline, the son of Richard R. and Geraldine Eckhardt Ratliff. He married Donna Miller on October 18, 2003 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in East Moline, where he was a member.

Rick worked as a mechanic. He enjoyed stock car racing, working on cars, and camping. Survivors include his wife, Donna, Moline; mother, Geraldine (Ed) Bruce, Moline; sister, Sandy (Mark) Larson, Lynn Center; step sister, Terry (Gary) Thompson, Viola; two sons, Douglas (Exa) Miller, OK, and Nicholas (Margaret Nunne) Miller, Chicago; daughter, Haley Fordham, Moline; grandchild, Quincy Luten, Moline, and another grandchild due in May.

He was preceded in death by his father.
