Ricky’s Obituary Ricky Lee Morris, 59, of Elkton, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at his home. He was born July 2, 1959, in Camp LeJune, North Carolina and was the son of the late Arnold Lee and Lois Helen Short Morris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Morris Hensley.

Ricky was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Elkton. He enjoyed coin collecting and collecting sports memorabilia. He was a 1977 graduate of Elkton High School and was employed for 28 years at R.R. Donnelley in Harrisonburg.

He is survived by sisters, Denise Morris, Theresa Hammer and husband, Gene all of Elkton and Gloria Harnish and husband, Mike of Denver, CO. ; granddaughter, Samantha Dawn Morris and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton.

A funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Larry Gent and Pastor Jack Campbell at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2019, at Evangelical United Methodist Church in Elkton. Burial will follow at Elk Run Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Elkton Rescue Squad, 20871 Blue and Gold Dr. Elkton Va.
