Rita’s Obituary Rita R. (Russell) Baxter, 92, of Liverpool passed away on Friday. She was born and raised in Syracuse graduating from Convent High School. After attending secretarial school, Rita was employed for Goodyear at their district office and later with Syracuse China.

Rita’s main focus was her family. She had a love for dancing, along with her husband, spending many occasions with friends and family. She was a lifelong parishioner of Christ the King Church in Bayberry.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband of 70 years, Russell P. Baxter, Jr. of Liverpool, two sons, Russell (Marion) Baxter III of Huntington Beach, CA, Michael P. Baxter and fiancée Linda Margensey of Port Byron, NY, three grandchildren, Ryan (Karolina) Baxter, Lindsey (Morgan) Jones, Rozalyn (Christopher) Seward, four great-grandchildren, Willow, Edward, River, Leonard and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31 Baldwinsville with Funeral Services to follow at 6:00pm at the funeral home.
