Robbie’s Obituary Mrs. Robbie Jean McWherter, 80, of Union City passed away 7:20 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother John Fields and Pastor Justin Hiens will officiate.

Burial will follow in Palmersville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday and from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Jeff Ross, Henry Inmon, Royce Morgan, Brian Hughes, Sam Stephens and Maurice Carroll.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Faith Sunday School Class. Mrs. McWherter was born June 18, 1938, in Dresden, daughter of the late Marshall Thomas and Addie Virginia (Riggs) Cooper. She married Danny McWherter August 24, 1956.

He preceded her in death December 23, 2011. Ms. Robbie was a homemaker and a member of Second Baptist Church and the Faith Sunday School Class. She is survived by one daughter, Danette McWherter of Union City; one son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Robin McWherter of Union City; one sister, Betty Ann Higgs of Dresden; four grandchildren, Meagen Wilson, Kayse Hubbard and Clay McWherter all of Union City and Caden McWherter of Greenfield; and four great grandchildren.
