Robert “Bob”‘s Obituary Bob Allen Services for Robert Clayton “Bob” Allen, 91, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Ada Baptist Temple, Rev. Mickey Hollars will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery near Francis.

The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery. Mr. Allen passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born December 26, 1927 at Lindsay, OK to Theodore and Elizabeth Hyden Allen.

He graduated from high school and received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from East Central University. He married Norma Jean Wolfe Stokes June 21, 1975. Mr. Allen taught Industrial Arts at Byng High School, retiring after 30 + years of service.

He served in the U. S. Navy and the U. S. Army. Mr. Allen was a member of the Ada Baptist Temple and he also volunteered at the Chickasaw Medical Center for several years. Survivors include his wife, Norma, of the home; a daughter, Teresa Gayle Allen Wright of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren, Michelle Foster, Michael Baxter, Steven Latham, Brandy Couey, Danial Stokes and Brittney Stokes; nine great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Bearers will be Stephen Foster, Chris Foster, Earnest Dutton, Matt Couey, Rex Wilson and Carlos Alvarez.
