Robert “Bob” Klein, 74 of Watkins, passed away on April 9, 2018. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Watkins. Interment will be in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

Fr. Aaron Nett will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to time of service on Saturday at the church.

Arrangements are with the Ertl Funeral Home, Watkins. Robert “Bob” Klein was born on April 28, 1943 in Watkins to Peter and Alma (Ophoven) Klein. He Served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1961 to 1969.

He was a 50 year member of the Watkins American Legion Post #453 and a member of the Watkins Sportsmen’s Club. Bob is survived by Sandy, his wife of 52 years; children, Steve (Robyn) Klein, Kathy (Darrin) Gillette; grandson, Peter Gillette; brothers, Gerald Klein, Ronald (Shirley) Klein, Thomas (Deb) Klein and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Robert; three sisters and one brother.
