Robert “Bob” Burdick, 85 of Beecher, IL passed away October 20, 2018 at his home. Bob was born on August 6, 1933 in Chicago Heights, IL the son of Vern and Ferne Burdick. He is survived by his children Bruce (Kathy) Burdick of Lake Village, IN and John (Jenne) Burdick of Pioneer TN.

HIs siblings Doug (Sue) Burdick of Beecher, IL, Karen (Don) Olsen of Beecher, IL, Elaine (Jim) Kleine of Beecher, IL, Ladonna (Don) Schultz of Beecher, IL, Marilyn Koelling of Missouri and Mary Burdick of Beecher, IL also survive as well as 9 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Thomas, brothers Rodney, Dick and Butch as well as a sister Shirley Teske. Bob was a member of the Beecher Sportsmens Club an avid Cubs fan, outdoorsman and worked at a local sausage shop were everyone knew his name.

Bob also served our country in the United States Army and was a member of Beecher Amvets post 67. Visitation will be held Thursday October 25, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at Hack Funeral Home in Beecher. Funeral services will be conducted Friday October 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. also at Hack Funeral Home.

Burial will be at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Beecher. Rev. Joel Dietrich will officiate.
