Robert C. Bowler, 77, passed away December 25, 2018 at Mercy Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Holyoke, July 14, 1941, he was the son of the late Patrick and Lucy (Equi) Bowler. Robert was the manager at Armata’s Grocery Store in Longmeadow for many years.

He was a communicant of St. Thomas Church and a member of the Holyoke Elks Club. He leaves his beloved wife, Martha (Kennedy) Bowler, his loving children, Timothy P. of West Springfield, Brian J. of Holyoke, and Mary E. Sawyer of Southampton, his brother, Patrick M. of Eastham and his 10 loving grandchildren. The funeral will be held Monday December 31, 2018 at 9AM from the TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield St, West Springfield with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10AM from St Thomas Church and burial to follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.

Calling hours are Sunday, December 30 from 1pm – 4pm. Donations may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph 577 Carew St. Springfield, MA. 01104.
