Claiborne, age 76 of Bucklin formerly of Brookfield, died Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Pershing Memorial Hospital. Robert was born in Amarillo, Texas on July 7, 1942 to Curtis H. and Marie L. Claiborne. He married Denyne Wyatt on March 17, 1982.

Robert worked as a pharmaceutical chemist. He was a member of the Park Baptist Church in Brookfield and a Brookfield/Bucklin resident the past 40 years. He is survived by his wife Denyne Claiborne of the home in Bucklin, son James Claiborne and Lorri of Shawnee, Kansas and two grandchildren, Tyler and Morgan Claiborne.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 18, 2019 at Park Baptist Church in Brookfield with burial in the Wyandotte Cemetery in rural Bucklin. Visitation will be from 12:30 until time of services Monday at the church.

Memorials can be made to the Gideons or Park Baptist Church and mailed to Delaney Funeral Home 1720 N. Missouri Ave. , Marceline, MO 64658.
