Mr. Robert Dean Whitsett, age 75, of the Springplace community, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Marshall Medical Center. Mr. Whitsett was a native of Giles County, the son of the late Allen and Reba LaVern Williams Whitsett. He retired from ICP in the warehouse department and was a member of the Ostella Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Edna E. Whitsett, and one brother, Marion (Barbara) Whitsett of Lewisburg. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Cornersville Funeral Home with burial to follow in Short Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin on Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm and will continue on Friday until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908. Cornersville Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
